M2M Connect
Smart421 specified, designed, built and deployed Orange's M2M Connect platform, enabling Orange to become the first UK Mobile operator to provide this service. The system is one of the first in the world to be built on an open mobile infrastructure and enables reliable two-way communications between business systems and mobile or remote units.
The system allows organisations to:
- Receive any type of data from the field
- React to the information received
- Prevent cost or impact by initiating corrective action
- Save money (for example in maintenance costs)
- Create new, competitive business models
