Essex County Council Smart421 provide software support for a number of Essex County Council's critical systems including Payroll, Mileages and Allowances, Personnel and Teachers records. The Payroll System makes approximately 70,000 payments each month and, in addition to ECC employees, is used to pay employees on non-ECC contracts. In addition to providing software support for a number of ECC systems, Smart421 carry out development work to ensure that these systems continue to meet the customer's and statutory requirements.
