Smart421 has delivered a variety of business critical applications and managed services covering both electricity and gas for E.ON (formerly Powergen and TXU) since 1993.
Of particular note, Smart421 built and supported a customer service and billing system for the half-hourly 1MW and the 100kW electricity deregulation which processed over £1billion per annum. Smart421 was also heavily involved in assisting E.ON (then TXU) deliver on the requirements to support the 1998 electricity market deregulation. In addition, following Powergen's acquisition of TXU, Smart421 has been heavily involved in the migration and archiving of data and applications to Powergen systems, and ongoing support of the new services.
