IRN
Independent Radio News (IRN) began broadcasting in 1973. It is now one of the world's most successful radio news providers distributing regional, national and international news and advertisements to the UK Commercial Radio Network. IRN currently provide audio files to approximately 300 commercial customers throughout Europe, distributed via the internet and a satellite link.
Smart421 developed and support systems used for both radio news distribution and the distribution of advertisements. Both systems are hosted by Globix, one of our web hosting partners and were built around .NET technology. Other technologies employed include SQL Server2000, NT Service and XML.
