Neil Miles Neil Miles is Managing Director of Smart421. He has been with the company since its inception and has held several executive responsibilities including Operations Director, Commercial Director and Sales Director Neil is best known for his drive, enthusiasm and leadership since the acquisition of Smart421 in 2006. Since then, Neil has more than doubled the size of the business, delivering a 42% revenue growth in financial year 2010/11. He has positioned the company as a leading independent high end consultancy specialising in technology change. Smart421 focuses on Architecture, Integration & support of mission critical IT applications, supporting CIOs across a range of industry sectors. Neil’s passion extends to his corporate social responsibilities where he supports local business though directorship of Martlesham Innovation Centre, an incubator at BT's Adastral Park. He is also the chairman of the IP Network SIG and a board member of Ipswich Chamber of Commerce. Neil also works to encourage young people through involvement with the Prince's Trust, the IDEA apprenticeship scheme and the Ipswich Town Community Trust. Before Smart421, Neil was Head of Operations at Salmon Ltd, Projects Director at EON (formally TXU Europe) and Head of Programmes at Eastern Electricity.
