Affiniti
The acquisition of Smart421 by Kingston Communications (Hull) PLC presents a wealth of collaboration opportunities for sister businesses Smart421 and Affiniti. With complementary services, their unification promises to deliver an end to end service covering communications integration through to application management.
Affiniti is the communications integrator specialising in creating intelligent communications solutions for its customers. It provides secure voice and data networking expertise with managed services to enable a truly connected enterprise that harnesses the full power of converged communications.
Both companies now offer a broader range of sector, infrastructure and technology experience and a wider delivery remit. Clients will benefit from a much larger pool of resources and a reduction in vendor sourcing and management related activities.
Commenting on the collaboration, Neil Miles, CEO of Smart421, said: 'Our acquisition is testament to Smart421's impressive performance, customer service and delivery track record and will provide Smart421 with broader market opportunities, further strengthening our SOA proposition. We are pleased to be part of the KCOM Group and are already working with Affiniti in some clients. SOA and convergence are high on the agenda for enterprise organisations. Our collaborative end to end services with Affiniti will enable us to deliver greater benefits to our clients.'
Customer benefits derived from the group collaboration:
- Strengthened market presence.
- Complete 'end to end' application, infrastructure and communications services
- Reduced overall support and service costs.
- 'Single supplier' solution
