Smart421 wins Accredited Catalist Supplier status

Smart421 announced today it has been awarded the accredited Catalist supplier status. with OGCbuying.solutions. The award of the contract was based on a competitive procurement process with only 32 of the 257 companies that lodged an expression of interest being awarded a place on the Framework Agreement.

The Catalist Framework Agreement (CFA) awarded to Smart421 was one of only 11 such awards and is for the provision of consultative services around emerging technologies such as digital communication and service oriented architecture (SOA).

The CFA is recognised as a key route to the public sector market and represents a key award for Smart421. It is fiercely competed for and validates Smart421's status as a valued supplier to the public sector. Elements contributing toward Smart421's success were the company's track record, the quality of the bid, and the competitive pricing structure. These were supported by a 15 year track record of providing consultancy on innovative business initiatives enabling customers to realise the benefits of emerging technology.

Public Sector clients will benefit from a Trust Model, an established Smart421's practice with their blue chip clients, whereby Smart421 works to continuously deliver value and build relationships with a view to becoming the client's trusted partner.

According to CEO for Smart421, Neil Miles, "We are very pleased to be awarded [ICT Consultancy Services status] the CFA from a pool of high calibre companies as it reinforces our position as a best of breed company in the emerging technologies arena for the public sector. We are currently working on several exciting technology enablement projects in the finance, telecoms, utilities and transport and our track record and experience will provide significant service quality and cost benefits to the sector. Securing the Framework Agreement will help facilitate the rapid deployment of our managed services and integration practices for public sector customers, who in turn can benefit from emerging technologies in a timely fashion."
