Ipswich, UK - 20 July 2010 - Smart421, the systems integration and managed services specialists, today hosted two budding IT entrepreneurs at their Ipswich technical centre. David Farnworth and George Shelley-Taylor, two friends from St Mary's RC School in Ipswich, wanted to find out about the IT industry and talk about computers. They met with senior technical specialists and software developers. After a tour of the business, they were presented with a pack of Smart421 branded merchandise and iTunes vouchers.
David and George first found out about Smart421 at an event organised by the IP-City Network on 01 July. They met a number of Smart421 staff including the managing director and put themselves forward very confidently to ask for permission to learn more about the business and the IT industry.
Neil Miles, managing director of Smart421, said "David and George really impressed me with their drive to find out for themselves how the industry works. It's great when you come across genuine enthusiasm for technology at such a young age. I think talent like this needs to be encouraged. With the kind of initiative I've seen from them today, these boys could go far."
