Smart421 managing director, Neil Miles, represented the KCOM Group plc at this year’s World Partner Conference, organised by Microsoft (WPC09).

Both Smart421 and the KCOM group have a key partnership with Microsoft. The KCOM Group holds three certified partnership relationships with Microsoft, through Smart421 (Gold Certified), Affiniti (Certified), and KCOM itself (Gold Certified), with each division forging their own associations with Microsoft addressing very different customer needs.

Neil Miles said, "It was good to gain longer-range visibility on a wave of important product line introductions planned by Microsoft. Of special interest was the Microsoft offering in the Cloud and their insight of the impact that technology is already having as well as the far reaching changes it could mean for the industry. This helps us enormously to advise our customers on what future technology options will be out there going forward."

The World Partner Conference took place 13th-16th July 2009 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, USA.
