Java developers
- Graduates with at least a 2:1 in an IT related degree (i.e. Computer Science/Software Engineering)
- 12 months or more development experience in Java/J2EE and related technologies
- Good analysis and design skills (including knowledge of UML)
- Good knowledge of databases (including Oracle)
- Knowledge of Weblogic
- A demonstrable willingness to undertake further learning to improve and enhance existing skills
Microsoft senior developers / designers
- A proven track record in designing and delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft solutions
- Extensive experience in building architectures based on Microsoft technologies (C#, .Net, DNA)
- Involvement across the full project lifecycle (to successful deployment)
- Good experience with and knowledge of UML and design patterns
- Ability to gather business requirements and architect solutions based on those requirements
- First class design skills including the ability to draw up extremely accurate specifications that could be effectively utilised by development teams offshore as well as onshore
- Good hands-on coding skills in C# and ASP.Net
- Strong experience in SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SharePoint and other Microsoft technologies (including XML)
- Experience with Enterprise Application Integration technologies (particularly Biztalk)
Solution designers / architects
- End to end project experience with strong consulting, influencing and presentation skills
- A broad technical background with depth in at least one architecture discipline
- Proven ability to deliver flexible, bespoke IT solutions
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at senior levels
- A good knowledge of architecture frameworks and models (eg Zachman, TOGAF)
- A good knowledge of integration technologies
- A working knowledge of technical architecture disciplines (application, data or infrastructure)
- A working knowledge of development processes (eg RAD, Agile, RUP), including testing approaches and methods
- Previous experience in lead roles on major application development or systems integration projects
- Practical experience of software development
Storage Consultant
- Storage solution design, implementation and management skills
- Consulting skills including lead assessments, team leadership, project management, SAN design and implementation
- Good platform knowledge including Windows and UNIX
- Software and Storage networking experience
Delivery Manager
- Managing the Smart421 service to the customer
- Day to day line management of assigned resources
- Liaising with client representatives on delivery scope and quality
- Management of commercial aspects of work packages
- Excellent communication, people and project management skills will be required, and a proven track record of delivery
